The Team Behind Respa Mindfulness: Building the Future of Breathwork Technology

At Zansors, we believe great products come from great teams. The development of Respa Mindfulness is not the work of one person, but the result of diverse skills, relentless dedication, and a passion for innovation. Much like assembling a team of superheroes, we brought together some of the best minds in engineering, design, data science, and marketing to create something truly special.

Think of us as the Avengers of breathwork technology. Each member brings unique skills, but it’s the synergy of these talents that has made Respa Mindfulness possible. Let’s meet the people behind the scenes who helped bring it to life.

Engineers Who Build the Heart of Respa Mindfulness

Electrical Engineers

The foundation begins with circuit design. Our electrical engineers are the architects behind the circuit board, schematics, and bill of materials. They ensured every component met the highest standards, solving challenges quickly when fabrication issues arose and recalculating memory and storage needs to guarantee seamless performance.

Firmware Engineers

Firmware engineers brought the hardware to life by writing the code that powers the device. They ensured breath detection, feedback, and tracking worked flawlessly. A critical achievement was developing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality, allowing seamless communication between the Respa device and iOS or Android apps. This feature enables real-time feedback and user tracking, a core element of the Respa experience.

Data Scientists Who Perfected RespaCore

The RespaCore algorithm, which powers breath phase detection, is a product of our data science team’s expertise. Using datasets from guided breathing exercises, they trained the system to detect inhalations, holds, and exhalations, and to calculate match scores.

Their work didn’t stop at development. They continuously tested and fine-tuned accuracy, applying advanced statistical methods to ensure reliable feedback across different users and environments. Thanks to them, Respa Mindfulness is more than a breath-tracking device, it’s a self-coaching tool.

Designers Who Translated Vision into Reality

Our design team ensured Respa Mindfulness was functional, intuitive, and user-friendly. Early focus groups revealed the importance of the match score, which became central to the user experience.

Designers crafted wireframes for an interface optimized for iOS and Android, and also worked on product packaging, ensuring the physical device was as sleek and appealing as the app.

Respa Mindfulness: A Future Built by a Dedicated Team

Every great entrepreneurial company begins by excelling in a niche. For us, that niche is breathwork. From early work in sleep apnea detection to ventilatory threshold monitoring in exercise, our journey gave us the expertise to create Respa Mindfulness.

The technology is cutting-edge, but its true value lies in the people behind it. Engineers, data scientists, designers, marketers, and investors all worked together to build something meaningful.

As we share Respa Mindfulness with the world, we do so with the confidence that it’s supported by a world-class team, not just launching a product, but sparking a movement that will change how people experience their breath.
